General information about ROMJIST

The Romanian Journal of Information Science and Technology is a scientific publication of the Romanian Academy. It is edited by the Section of Information Science and Technology from the Romanian Academy (certain members of the Section form the Editorial Board. The printed version is provided by the Publishing House of the Romanian Academy (www.ear.ro). The on-line version of the Journal is sponsored by IMT Bucharest (www.imt.ro).
The journal is intended to be a forum for dissemination of original results of research in the area of information science and technology. Routine applications of techniques already known in literature will be rejected.
Particularly, theoretical results with no experimental verification are of little interest.
Both "usual" journal papers and short communications (with a high degree of novelty) are accepted. Review papers are published only if they are specially requested by the Journal. Occasionally, special issues devoted to specific topics, or extended versions of papers presented at a Conference are published. An example is publishing extended versions of CAS papers (CAS, www.imt.ro/CAS is an IEEE event devoted to semiconductors). All contributions will be refereed.
